Caring for children can be hectic even on a good day. However, when your child becomes seriously ill or injured, things can become especially challenging. Having a plan in place can help you prepare for the worst, to help take some of the stress off your shoulders.

If your child has experienced an emergency:

  1. Call 911 when applicable

  3. Bring any applicable insurance cards and a payment method
  4. Consider packing a favorite toy or blanket, chargers for phones, and a change of clothes
  5. Coordinate with the paramedics to ensure you are both headed to the nearest emergency room
